Why is it so restrictive and is there any way you can make it not as restrictive as it is? What would be the way to go about it?

Did you buy extra headers for your car or were they already installed? Did you feel a noticeable difference after putting them on? Was the sound louder/quieter?

True duals with long tube headers will give you the best power gains.

You can't get long tubes for a v6. Only mid-length as far as I know

My question is if there is even a possibility of getting long tube headers on a v6 and is it possible to buy one part of a system at a time since i don't have enough money to put into the car at once. for a v6 which headers and system would you recommend considering i have a 99 V6 3.8L engine?

Which headers would you recommend and long/mid/short-length tube whats is the biggest difference between them except for the amount of fumes they discard from the engine, what are the differences in installation? Which ones are the easiest and hardest to install and why?

The difference between long mid and shorties is the primary tubes lengths (1 promary tube for each cylinder). Only midlength headers are in production for the 3800 iirc, and those are Pacesetters. They run around $250 I believe. A catback will cost around $400 or so for a Magnaflow or Flowmaster.
