Hi ya'll


I have noticed lately when it rains hard and there is water on the road or when I hit a puddle, my check gauges light comes on. Its get perticulary bad when I am making a turn, almost like the car wants to die and the steering gets really tight like it will putter out? when this happens the voltage gets in the red, not far maybe like 8-10 volts. when most batteries should be like 12+. anyone else have this problem or have had or maybe just chime in to what you think it maybe, again it only happens when it rain and when i hit puddles, no grant it I dont aim for them like some young bucks do. but sometimes you have no choice...

The accesory belt may be slipping when wet. Try a new belt and a new tensioner,

 

Could be alternator also.....might be getting water into voltage regulator.

Alright fellas i replaced the belt and tensioner and worked liked a charm. tensioner was busted to SH*T

total cost for parts about 65 bucks
