Default 1982 Camaro Z28 CFI you thoughts

I was just wondering if you guys think this is a good deal or not. My dad said he went and looked at an 82 CFI, 64k miles, t tops,305 i believe. Good: straight body, no rust or dings on it anywhere. Bad: hasnt been started in a couple years, and a lil bit of mold on the inside which a good cleaning should take care of. My dad said this guy really wants to get rid of it and would prob sell it for $700, yes i said $700, just wanted some thoughts...

For a straight, rust free Z28 with the original drivetrain for 700 bucks, it's well worth it.

If it's in real good condition, you might want to keep it original. While CFI is not the most desirable FI system, it's hard to come by an un-molested, all original CFI car. Most have been beat up and or converted to carb. If you can prove it's 64k miles and not 164k miles, that's even better.

I was thinking the same thing... Make it look like my 83, but keep it stock... Ask people if they want to race, then go grab the 83

Because it was known as a troublesome, non high performance system.
