Brake Light Problem

Default Brake Light Problem

Hello, I have a 98 Z28 and have what I thought was a burnt out bulb. Replaced bulb and still not working. Any ideas?

Fuse? Wiring connector? Light bulb socket?

same thing happened to mine. turned out to be the actual socket its self.. the ground inside it went bad.. sodered a new ground onto the socket and good to go.

i should have done a quick write up

Thanks midrange. I sodered a new ground onto the socket and now it works.

how do you you soder a new ground into the socket? i think thats the problem with on my car too. only one filament on my brake light bulb not working. i hate not driven my camaro in a while. please help me i appreciate it very much thk you!
