Anybody here using a performance fuel filter?

To me, you will not see dramatic difference using a high flow fuel filter.

I would save your money and stick with an OEM off the shelf filter. Delco, Wix, or Purolator. As far as changing it, mine is done every 2 years, whether it needs it or not. Changing the fuel filter isn't going to really extend/hurt the pump life. The only time it'd effect it is if the filter were clogged to the point where the pump was straining to put fuel through. Otherwise, any contaminants that are in the filter have already been through the pump.

and there is a sock at the pump intake to filter out some of it.
