I finally decided to get my car checked out today because I was stumped and could not figure it out. I went and had my battery and alternator tested and found out the the alternator is going haywire, which is why my car has been been idling and driving rough. Thanks for everyones help in brainstorming ideas.

 

Glad you got that fixed. Yes a bad alternator can cause all sorts of strange stuff to happen. Your problem would have prolly went unnoticed on a pre-computer vehicle but the computers do not like dirty power.
