95 3.4l Swaping to 350 question

Default 95 3.4l Swaping to 350 question

Just recently got a 95 camaro an just finished the body work ill post pics in alittle bit, But i just got a 1978 350 cid Engine that was pulled from a 1978 camaro.. came complete carb to pan an is in pretty good shape. just orderd new piston an rings an all new gaskets. But not sure about the tranny

Im pretty sure i cant use the stock 3.4l auto tranny or driveshaft?

i know i gotta replace the rear end and rad an such

Search it out its been covered 17,354 times. You got a ton of work ahead of you. Starting with the Kframe what will fit the motor. Yes the 3.4 tranny will NOT bolt to a SBC either. Also your carburator will not fit under the hood. You want to be sure the got the distributor in right cause you will need to pull the motor to work on it.

theres alot of work is that swap..as well as some states forbid you to put an older motor in a newer car, if you car about that sort of thing. Im wanting to do the same thing but looking at an ls1 swap.
