Hey guys, can anyone out there tell me if the manual tranny off my '83 maro would fit in my '94 Z28 auto?..and would it be cheaper to put this in with a clutch and everything or just get my 460le replaced for $1750? Thanks!

 

If you are being charged $1750 for a 4l60, you are being robbed. Shop around, you may get a rebuild on your current trans cheaper.

 

Thanks thats what I thought too but the guy said it was too far gone to rebuild..I guess I'll just keep looking
