Yeah extremely huge. Im looking for a V6 right now because of my lead foot with my S-10 lol,but id have to say that if i could afford a V8 i would prolly get one.

Yeah I would definitely go with an LS1 Camaro over a3.8 any day (unless it's for a new driver).Just knowing that you have over 300hp under your foot I imagine feels pretty good, and just the thought of being able to smoke 85-90% of the cars that pull up next to you is pretty badass too. I'm 17 and thats the only reason I have a 3.8. As soon as I can find someone to buy my 96 off me I'll be in the market for a 98-02 LS1. Like everyone else said just get a superchip and programmer and I guarantee you'll be able to get mid if not high twenties mpg (as long as your not getting on it). Not to be rude but I'd get an LS1 or else not anything at all.

can i get them for the 3.8?

 

You can get the programmer for the newer 3.8s or get HPTuners for the 97-02 3.8s.

HPTuners > programmer

 

HPTuners only sells computer siftware from what i can see.

anyone else know other good programmers or superchips?

 

alright my decision has been narrowed down to fuel mileage.

anyone have any thoughts on fuel mileage from v6 and v8?

also, do both the v6 and v8 have posi?
