its the plastic push pin in between the two bolts in the pic, there's one at each end.



there's also this one in the floor but I can never get that one out. I just fold the flap down, and there we'll be plenty of room to get it out.

 

Thanks so much to everyone in this thread that was so helpful, especially fbodyrs96 for posting those pics for me. Unfortunately I got some bad news today and don't think I'll be keeping the car. Took it to a garage for an oil change and inspection only for the first time, and they damn near threw the book at my car. Said it was unsafe to drive and unfit for the road lol. I'm thinking I'm in over my head on this one. But thanks again guys
