'01 Camaro V6 to V8 swap.
I'm going for a stock V6 look, In fact, No spray paint will be used on this build.
There is a picture of it a few post up, Nice piece, Lots of gussets used, Has brake line mounts to, Something BMR doesn't.
Getting really close guys!!!!!!
Engine/Transmission are in, Power Steering lines done, New Radiator, Flushed the Evaporator & Condenser, Rerouted the battery cables to the Starter & Alternator (Shorten the Starter cable, Lengthen the Alternator cable), Y-pipe & Exhaust, A stock LS1 lower radiator hose fits, Fuel system done, Front Brakes, Timken wheel bearings, Bilstein Struts, New upper control arm bushings.
Still need to do...
AC hoses
Air intake
Evap line
Mount/Modify the Truck DBW gas pedal
Change the fuel filter
Wire cruise control
Rear shocks
Upper radiator hose
Alignment
Get new tires mounted & balanced
Waiting on PCM from the Tuner

looks great ? your staying with the single exhaust ,you may find the get up an go it not there ,I just feel anyone not running straight pipes is just loseing out ,now that I feel the power ,with the old exhaust I got a lot of vibration ,an to much back pressure coused a leak ,so looking back ,but if its what you like ,or going for a sleeper look ,let us hear it ,still don't know why they don't move you to projects ,after all its a project right an engine swap, looks like your moveing along great, this could be a popular swap I see one can bye the short block rebuilt gm product for like $2300

I have to be nice 'til the gears & trans are broke-in, I don't have the heavy foot I used to have in my younger days.

It is Mandrel bent 3" from the Y-pipe back, Keep in mind stock Z28's have compression bent 2.75" pipe from the Y-pipe back. I'm running a 3" Borla muffler as well. I'm worried about it being TO LOUD...This is going to be my daily driver.
I understand ,so your going to have all the emissons control stuff hooked up ,this does seems like one of the best choises for guys with v6 ,we had a lot of them ask about putting 383sbc in to much work ,this is a great idea ,an seems very inexpencive comparing to other builds ,I bet you could beef up those engines ,like I said I had drive Yukon denali .I think was 6.0 but it was a rental ,an got it sideways when I hit the gas ,I did not know the power it had until then ,but it was a gas hog like mine is now ,looks like your working hard on this ,?whats the time its takeing you to do this,i think that's better then the 4.6 in a the mustangs too, though I like anything with an engine,i don't think it will be to loud unless you step on the gas

This guy is selling a project, I think he is a little high. Motor could be worth 3K if it is a LQ9 but a blown Ls1 body is not worth $2500. The 6 speed and upgraded rear might make it worth it but still seems high for something that can not be test driven.

The only emissions component I have is EVAP, No converters, EGR, or AIR pump.
It took 5 days to get where I'm at now, Building the Harness, PCM tune, & Welding the A/C hose assembly are the only things I didn't do myself.
Those 5 days were Brutal though, But I did Brakes, Shocks, Struts, Diff rebuild etc etc that are not really engine swap related.
