($ Camaro AC not working HELP
I have a 94 Camaro LT1 that the ac is not working on. The compressor does not kick it when I turn the ac on. However I can go to the fuse box and put a jumper on the relay and the compressor will kick in and the ac blows snow. I have changed the pressure switch on the small line and this did not fix the problem. I have also charged the system while the compressor is running and this did not fix the problem.Wondering what direction to go in next any help would be great.
As you say, PCM controls the closure of the relay.
There are other sensors, engine temp, evap temp, and others for the PCM to be satisfied and turn on the comp.
The PCM driver for relay control may be faulty, replacement of the PCM.
Or, add a toggle switch to the relay socket in place of your jumper.
