in a previous thread i talked about how i got an 88 camaro parts car for my Z28. well today i figured id take the fenders off and the front bumper and ground effects. theres one problem, i guess i cant find all the bolts to un bolt. So i was wandering if someone could give me instructions on how to take the fender off, and where the nessecary bolts are that i need to unbolt. ( i just got the bolts ontop of the fenders unbolted . cant find the rest. I FEEL STUPID lol . im also havig trouble taking off thefront bumper as well. ( im new to this and its my first time )

 

Keep looking. There shouyld be some under the fenderwell near the tires. Also you might want to invest in a repair manual. Sometimes you can get the manual from the manufacturer that has the build instructions in them.

 

you got the top ones, there are also three or four going into the bumper cover on each side, and two on the bottom one going to a brace and one bolting the rear to the body.

 

There are two bolts on the rear of the fender on the bottom by the doors but you have to take the ground effects off first. They are easy to take off the are just held on by clips. There is also i believe two or three bolts right in front of the tire on the bottom as well. I suggest getting a repair manual first also, they will give you a step by step process on how to fix everything. good luck

 

i finally got the pasenger side fender off, it was a chore lol for being my first time, where those 2 bolts are under the door, i will have to hammer it back into shape. and it was a little rusty so im gonna use a dremel tool to clean it up and primer it .

 

Ya i had a problem with those two bolts on mine as well. But that car going to the junkyard eventually so i used a hammer when i couldnt get the fender off. It worked.
