So i installed a transgo jr shift kit in my 700 with a .500 boost valve and corvette servo. When i put the trans on the dyno every thing works except it doesn't go into 4th. It tried to but it just started smoking out the fill tube and the trans got really hot. I pulled it apart and found the band burned up. I replaced the drum and band and its almost back together for a second try. Im not sure if i put the checkballs in the right place the first time, so i would lie to be sure this time. Im having trouble understanding the transgo ball diagram.

They show two separator plates opposite each other and each have the a different amount of check *****. I got the ones in the case correct, But im really not sure how they go on the separator plate. Im also not sure where the only big check-ball goes to, as the rest are smaller. The trans is an 86 so it doesn't have an aux valve body. Also, i triple checked and the gaskets aren't covering any holes in the plate.
