huh mine turns on as soon as I turn the key too. My first fan burned up when somehow the metal frame to which it mounts got bent up in the middle, and caused the fan to hit. IT also melted the wire, and the in line fuse didn't work. After replacing all that, it runs like 180's, got to 220 and stayed there today, but today was like 15 degrees warmer than it's been.

 

Yeah my car had a few Wiring problems, Got it all straightend away and she runs like a champ. Im still scared of my car, It's my first and well... Lets just say i couldn't ask for a better first car! I say's this one is going to be with me for life since i always hear people regreting getting rid of their very first car. One these days i will restore it fully! but for now at my age, its just to much work. My car now is in the process of getting it's floor redone. i got ALOt of pics but are too big, if i can send them to someones email i'd love to get them posted to show you all my baby!

what size engine in your Camaro? Mine burries the needle at 240. guessing 250-260 roughly(350 Standerd)

 

um mine's just the 305 (if you were talking to me). And in response to one of your previous replies I can say that you do need AC, even if you have t-tops. I'm in the process of moving to florida, and holy hell! it's hit 100 every day but one while I'm down here. No matter how fast you go, no T-tops are gonna solve that.

 

My 92 overheats w/o the a/c on. I have to run with the heat on full blast, even on the highway. I have completely replaced the cooling system. I have yet to figure it out.

 

do what he did. check the sensors and make sure the fan is turning on. and that it goes faster when your temp goes up. unless ur mechanical.
