Hello i recently bought an 89 iroc camaro 305 i am looking for some info on other 700's that would work with my application 2wd trucks? vans? OTHER GM VEHICLES i know it has a lock up t|c .i know in some circumstances i will need to swap my tailshaft for the torque arm . need some help i have good leads on good used trannys but dont know which would be the easiest to install without much modifaction .ohh ya ive been a ford guy all my life and have had 5 mustangs but got tired of the same old stuff and lets be honest mustangs are like *******s everybody has em. the 3rd gen iroc is a great lookin car and i am very happy with my purchase . any help would be appreciated .

i just had the same problem lol lost 3rd and 4th in mine if u find a 91 chevy van ur golden that where i got mine out of and all i did was change tail shafts on it but keep the speedo out of the van cause mine doesnt work now lol

 

i believe 84-93 will work for you. im not sure if you can use one from a 4wd though. stick with the later models though as they had more revisions and became stronger. a salvage yard would know exactly what you could use it from
