4L60e interchange

Default 4L60e interchange

I need to know what year 4l60e can be put in my 96 Z/28. The trans i had rebuilt about a year and a half ago went out. And im buying a used one to replace it.

i think its 95-97, check all plugins on the trans to make sure they match.

lol, i still have a back window for a 56 olds, hood plane to but its bubbling under the chrome

Starting in 1995, some vehicles had the upgraded 4L60E that has the "pulse-width-modulated" torque-converter lockup function. Your 1996 would definitely have that. To stay compatible with your cars electrical controls, look for a trans that has a "PWM" stamped on the front pump cover.
