Good question. I checked with Rockauto.com and they list a reman Crank. I am not sure if this link will work. When you pick on the part number to see what else it fits you get a list of just about every car that had a 3.8 from 95 thru 07. I would guess that would mean even the seires III 3.8's had the same cranks.
While I think the crank is unchanged all those years it is possible there is some feature that needs to be there for some years but does not hurt being there for the other years. Meaning GM my have 4 different part number that cover all those years but this suppier figured out a way to make a crank that will fit any of the years. So it is not 100% that a crank from a 95 will go right into an 07. Hopfully Someone like MusicMan will chime in
