I have always wrenched end links down all the way and never got a squeek from it.
I did not look through the site but will have to now to see the 92 LS1

 

hey mike, do you know what could cause a pop noise from the front right side? it does it when im backing up, turning left, and on the brakes. it pops, then feels like the car went lower, but could be my imagination. it also does it over slow bumps, but not while going fast. new ball joints, new center link, everything is greased. i was thinking maybe something worn in the bushing for the lower control arm?

 

You can check the lower control arm bushings. I have seen them with the rubber worn really bad. I have seen them in cars with upper contol arms and the rubber totaly gone!
Pull the cap off the strut bushing and look at the inside. Those usualy hold up well.
Make sure your caliper is tight.
Check and see if all your sway bar end links have the bushings in them.

 

I will check all those Mike, Thanks for the info, maybe I should just drive down to your house and we can wrench on both cars, till there fixed or the beer is gone, whichever happens first, LOL thanks again and I'll let ya know what i discover,

 

where the struts go through, mine has bearings, and checked out fine. sometimes i do get a vibration with light braking when the rotors get hot. ill recheck the caliper tightness.

 

Are you talking about the camber plates in the engine bay, where the front struts bolt? if not then if it's the brake calipers there fine tight, no vibration or pull under any braking condition. Mostly all the bushings on this car are shot, rubber rot from sitting for 5 years, and needs all components on front suspension and steering linkages, but never squeeked ? til aftermarket front sway and poly bushings were added.
