Default Remove VATS???

can you completely remove VATS from a car and still drive the car??? is it just a "kill switch" of sorts to prevent anyone from taking the car??

i'm just thinking about completely removing it if i can and then not having to worry about it, i really want to get my RS back on the road, and the POS VATS is getting in the way (i've already tried to fool the system, got nothing from it, i think it's the actual VATS module itself that has gone bad, and i don't want to spend $450 just on parts so i can just worry about it failing again).

any ideas???

What seems to be the problem? Sure it's not the key?

positive it's not the key. i've already tried to "fool" the VATS module by installing resistance (equal of what the keys resistance was, across the chip). it didn't work, that's why i think it's the module itself.

craby, i'll have to do that.

You need to remove the Vat system module or disable it. Google it for more info or a good tech article By Vader on thirdgen.org.
