i have a 1985 z28 camaro with an automatic trans (700 r4), im looking for a new shifter is there anything available? ive found shifters but i dont know what will work in this car... it doesnt have to be anything fancy just good enough to replace what i currently have. the previous owner got some kind of glue deep inside the shifter tube and now it doesn't work right.

 

if you are looking for a factory replacement, i would suggest a salvage yard. if you want something aftermarket, take a look on www.summitracing.com they offer direct fit shifters, both just cosmetic and performance
