Default vats help

hi
im new here
in my shop class we have a 95 camaro 3.6
they had drilled the ignition out and i read to bypass it and tried
nothing worked

any idea would be appreiated

umm also does anyone have a diagram for the fuse locations?

shbox.com gives the directions for bypassing the vats.on here in the 4th gen section,3rd sticky down is a 93-02 service parts manual in pdf form you can download.check it out

Wel what happened was my teacher lost the key and decided to drill te ignition out.... A few days later he finds the key

Thanks for the help

I hope he is your English teacher and not suppose to be teaching you about cars. The whole point of the security system was so you could not just drill the key out. I would expect anyone (even salesmen) that has been in the car business for more then a few years to know you can not just drill out an ignition. Not to mention that with the right tools I can pull the ignition out in about 15 minutes.

Honestly I'm not sure what he was thinking

He's a old school kinda guy
dosent know much about new tech in a way

Just noticed I put 3.6
it's a 3.4
that wouldn't matter right?

No it does not matter cause there was no 3.6. In 95 there is a small chance it could have been a 3.8 but the Vats system is just about the same regardless of the motor installed.
