i have a 1991 camaro and i am lookin for the VATS box so i can switch it out but I'm not havin luck findin threads anywhere. I had a bad column so i got a good one and the VATS box but i have no clue where the old box is in the car so i can replace it. I will not bypass it so please don't try to tell me how cause thats the only threads i did find.

 

I dont know where the box is for a 91 ut if you can get some schematics of the system it could give you an idea. Can you still get the unit uot of the same car the column came out of?

If not you will have to go to the dealer and have them reset your car to the new key or make you a new key with the old chip number and the new column's pattern

I guess just look under the dash till you find a box that resembles yours. I dont know what else to tell you
