no start
i got my transmission in (th350) and took it around the block open headers (shorties) and wont got faster than 15 MPH not so happy about that and i just turned on my street and car dies and wont start up. starter wont do anything no sound so we pushed the car home and first we thought it was the starter i had an aftermarket one in so we put the stock one in turn the key the light dim but the samething as the aftermarket so i took both starters in to get tested both work great looked over the wireing there is no fuseable link and all the wireing is ok so i replaced the Ignition Module Control thats hooked to the steering collom same so i hooked up a push button swich still nothing WTF
Running with the open shorties probably wasn't the best thing to do. You may have melted a wire in the starter circuit, among other things. I would check everything carefully.
As far as not being able to go any faster, I think your problem is that your computer is no longer getting a speed signal from the trans like it was from the 4L60E, unless you did some type of VSS conversion from the old trans to the new.
Go here: http://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledge/th700r4.htm and read the part about the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).
