have you checked for power at the fuel pump while you had it out? connectors can go bad. also, when you turn the key on, do you hear the pump run? it should run for about 2-5 seconds when the key is turned on. there is also a fuel pump test pin on the aldl, but i dont know which one it is. try doing a search on fuel pump test or fuel pump aldl

i meant for you to search that criteria. there is whats called the aldl, meaning assembly line diagnostic link. if for early on board diagnostics, and its located on the drivers side kick panel, near the fuse box. one of the pins supplies power to the fuel pump when a hot jumper wire is put into it, i just dont know which one it is.

ALDL is right below steering column on your car, just to right of fuse box,you will be staring right at it,might have cover on it but I doubt it. Has place for 12 pins but not all are used. Top row probably has 5 pins, bottom row only 2 or 3. Haynes says G terminal should run pump, shows it as bottom left pin. Page 4B-3 in Haynes repair manual. I think all you guys should get manuals to help out, I have both Chilton and Haynes cause sometimes one shows more than the other. Chiltons didn't even talk about testing pump using ALDL
