if you go LS1 instead of LS2 you can buy everything you will need from wiring to special headers to do the swap as a near "Bolt in" procedure. The ls1 into a 3rd gen is becoming a relativly popular swap. for the engine trans and all the swap parts it will prolly be cheaper than buying an LS2 alone. its been done for around $6k.

the ls2 is rated at 400... the ls1 is rated at 345ish... none the less it would be cheaper and MUCH easier to do a ls1 and built it up to an ls2 price and probably have about the same amount of power. But i do understand you're want to be different. I dont know of anybody putting an ls2 into a 94... that's why i'm doing it. Or ****, rebuild your small block and throw a supercharger on the *****! Possibly even nitrous. For around 7-8k you have several options that will all be BAD AS HELL!!!

haha well ill have the money for an ls2 cus ill probably be sellin my big block chevelle soon. the main reason why i want an ls2 is because even if i get one used its gonna have under 20k on it where as with an ls1 if i get one used chances are its gonna be closer to a 100k. if im gonna spendin this kinda money i want it to last ya know? and if i get an ls2 crate or one used i know its gonna last me awhile same with the t56. also what do you guys think about kyb adjustable gas shocks?

There are just a few choices for you. Spohn has a x-member for a LSx swap. There are many other kits for doing it also. My brother has a LS6 out of a truck he was going to give me to do it but I get too tired any more and would hate to see my car sitting for long. [&o]

i agree with the miles part of it. For a few grand more you can have 1/3 of the miles and about 50 more hp!
I have kyb agx adj. all the way around and i absolutely love them. I actually recomended them to a friend and he loves them also. The adjustability is AMAZING and a great feature to have.

do you adjust the shocks manually or are they self adjusting?
