my friend has a 86 camaro iroc/z-28 with original tires and rims. the problem is when you turn the wheel all the way to right or left the tire rubbs the wheel well on the side closes to the fire wall. all body lines are good. fenders are not to far forward. any ideas?

 

possibly lowered? stock shouldn't rub... also if they're really the stock rims the rim themselves will say front and rear on them, maybe they've been switched?

also maybe oversized tire, wider, taller?

 

I would go with the incorrect use of the Font & Rear IROC wheels. Most people don't realize you CAN NOT mixes these wheels due to different off sets on the front & rears..
