Is my 1986 Iroc Z A tune port car???????

Default Is my 1986 Iroc Z A tune port car???????

Hello all again!!!!!!!

I still have My 1986 Camaro IROC Z with the 68 327 in it! I was wondering how to tell if my car was a tune port car? It is a 4 wheel disc car but im not seeing were the badge on the rear was. So please help!!!!!!

This my new car!!!!! got to admit it kinda growing on me.

Just check the vin. Should have been efi. Is it carbed now??

Look under your center console lid-RPO codes. If you have find LB9 it was a TPI car.
LG4 or L69 it was carbed.

8th digit of the VIN will tell what it had: 1986 Camaro Data

Yup its got a Holley 750 on it. Its way to big for the motor.

just checked my title and is said it was a 305 with a 4 bbl carb. Now is it rare that i have 4 wheel disc brakes and a 4 bbl?

I don't think so. I have an 88 IROC-Z convert with drums and an 88 IROC-Z with discs

a lot of people put iroc stickers on cars no equipped with that package. my z28 has all the options, if not more, for an iroc, but is not badged as one. and one required option for iroc is 4 wheel disc. no drum

My 85 tpi had drums on the rear. I'd say most came with discs all around.
