Default bad wheel hop when trying to spin tires, looked not finding threads

as the titles says, didn't do anything to the car lately, what could be the culprit?

usually wheel hop is because of weak suspension and bad bushings id start at replacing the bushings first then move to shocks and springs

the bushings for the rear suspension... im not an expert on this as ive never had a wheel hop issue but i was watching one of those powerblock shows on spike a few years ago and they had an early 4th gen that had ridiculous wheel hop they replaced the bushings and springs/shocks and it went away

Lower control arm bushings and pan hard bar bushings. Your springs might also be bad.

So it's an LS1? How many miles on the car, and what springs are you running, OEM ones?

Checking the condition of your rear bumpstops may give some hints about what is going on -- are they crumbling?

Wheel hop is generally caused from the pinion end (yoke) of the rearend being allowed to lift under torque, then when it snaps back down, the tires will break free. It happens in a jerk-jerk-jerk motion. Your torque arm is what prevents that from happening, as well as stopping the rearend from twisting into a pretzel in general. So with that, give a close inspection to your torque arm; where it mounts to the trans bracket, where it mounts to the rearend, and also check to see if your trans mount is torn. If any of those points are no longer fastened, you will get wheel hop, and/or a banging noise.

yep ls1 107k original springs with slp bilsteins, changed the tranny mount a few months ago, wasnt torn but i could flex it with my bare hands, where exactly is the rear lower control arm bushings? I will check the torque arm places and have feedback. what i have been noticing lately though was when i am making a 90deg turn off the gas coasting, then go back on the gas once i straighten the wheel i do feel a bang/clunk
