usually the lca do it on lowered cars. bushings would have to be pretty bad. the torque arm bushing is in the trans mount unit. the torque arm goes into it. check to make sure you trans mount is not lose and the torque arm is not bent or damaged.

well seeing that everything that i`ve changed on this car has been original except for motor oil, my guess is those lca bushings are too. will try to get under asap thanx

is there a way to check lca bushings without loosening the bolts?

called the dealer, 55/ each rear bearing 15/each seal
is that a reasonable price? doesnt sound reasonable to me? worth it compared to aftermarket?

finally went under there, trans mount became pudding, so i put back the poly mount, checked the torque arm bushing and with two fingers i can squeeze it, local stores dont carry it, so im guessing i have to go poly with that too?

bad trans mount could have been the problem. was it broken? poly torque bar bushing/mount work fine. had one on mine before i switched to the cross bar mounted torque bar.

thx craby! wasnt broken but flexed a little too easy in my opinion, i got it exchanged for free in case the poly one goes, as a back up. i do feel a shake after driving for while when i take off from a stop light, could it be the motor mounts are starting to go? i have two that came with the poly trans mount, i guess i`ll put em in

no ses light that would indicate a misfire? kinda odd that it wont do it all the time. makes me wonder if it could be in the rearend or maybe the trans. is it coming from the rear or center of the car.

Poly trans mounts are reportedly a bad idea -- they introduce a lot more vibration, which many dislike and go back to stock rubber mounts...

almost sounds like misfire. motor mounts are a pain to change.
