and just now it threw a code 36 in addition !!!! aaah!!!

so i switched the maf burnoff relay with the fuel pump relay and bought a new maf power relay and reset the ecm and ran it no trouble codes came up, idle still dies down significantly low to about 550 hasnt when at a stop feels like it wants to stall im out of ideas??

so my z28 did not stall today idle stayed at 550-600 when at a stop at idle in park, i stopped at the store came back turned on the car put it in reverse and it hesitated like it wanted to stall then would just shut off drove it home in limp mode parked it fired it back up no check engine light drove fine checked the codes and now its just throwing code 42???

well its not throwing the code 42 but i guess its in the memory in the ecm from when it happened at the store since i did not reset the ecm what would cause this to be intermittent?

so guys i changed the icm yesterday and today it did not stall at stops even when it was in running temp so hopefully that take care of it!

Apparently, the driver(s) for the IAC were broken.

so i got one for you all, so ive still been having my intermittent problems with code 42 running sluggish and stalling at times, today i unplugged the maf sensor and it drove better than with it plugged so im guessing this points to a failing maf sensor? but im curious as to how a failing or bad maf sensor would throw a code 42? and can i drive with the maf sensor unplugged?
