Looking for some help. I have purchased an 85 Z28 possible IROC but there are some items that throw me off. It has the correct wheels, rear bumper badging for the TPI, dash logo and 5500 RPM redline. The weird thing is the car has no AC, power windows or rear defrost. Without purchasing the build sheet, how can I find out if this is a true IROC? The RPO label is gone from the passenger side of the inside of the console.

Give this a shot. Plug the VIN in, and see if it can come up with a list of RPO codes for your car.

 

If it has the 305 TPI it is a IROC-Z28. That engine was NOT available in any other model, also check the Vin (eight digit should be "F") engine code.
