700r4 to th400??? 1983 camaro
I have a 1983 camaro z28 with a 350 and 700r4 trans the trans went and I have a th400 laying in the garage how hard would it be to swap them and wat all would I have to do to make this happen thanks in advance for any help this is my first post

You'll need:
A slip yoke to fit the 400
A longer driveshaft
A modified/moved crossmember
A frame mounted torque arm bracket (the factory arm mounts to the trans)
Might have to do a little "hammer work" to the tunnel since the 400 is a fatter trans
A little more spending money since without overdrive the car will get worse gas mileage on the highway
