Default 750cfm carb on a 383

Has anyone on here successfully got a edelbrock 750 carb with an electric choke to tune right for a 383 stroker or do I need to bump down to a 650?

No one??

not by changing out the jets and pins and tuning it... I've read about 100 opinions but nothing really concrete so far, so I guess I'll just get the tuning kit and start from there.

How much power do you think that 383 is making? 650cfm is enough depending on how much power it's making and what's done to it, you don't want to dump a **** ton of fuel in the motor, I'd try the 650 1st and if it comes out like a dog after you tune it then go to the 750, summit has a CFM calculator I'd check that out also

I think the reason nobody replied was the question was so specific. Might be nobody has the same situation of a "750 cfm Edelbrock with electric choke on a 383".
I've got very little experience with Edelbrock carbs, as I usually use Holleys myself. But you might also want to put the model number of your Edelbrock in the post, as that will help people's replies also.
