750cfm carb on a 383
Has anyone on here successfully got a edelbrock 750 carb with an electric choke to tune right for a 383 stroker or do I need to bump down to a 650?

No one??
not by changing out the jets and pins and tuning it... I've read about 100 opinions but nothing really concrete so far, so I guess I'll just get the tuning kit and start from there. |
How much power do you think that 383 is making? 650cfm is enough depending on how much power it's making and what's done to it, you don't want to dump a **** ton of fuel in the motor, I'd try the 650 1st and if it comes out like a dog after you tune it then go to the 750, summit has a CFM calculator I'd check that out also

I think the reason nobody replied was the question was so specific. Might be nobody has the same situation of a "750 cfm Edelbrock with electric choke on a 383".
I've got very little experience with Edelbrock carbs, as I usually use Holleys myself. But you might also want to put the model number of your Edelbrock in the post, as that will help people's replies also. |
