I have a 81 camaro and will have a 510hp 454 put in and plan on running 3.55 gears with posi. It's not gonna be a daily driver or full race car but just like a hot rodding car with an occasional drag racing and some car shows. so like 85% street, 10% racing and 5% freeway driving. I was thinking of just going with a th400 since its a little cheaper but kind of like the 200r4 or 700r4 just incase I do some freeway driving. Which do you think I should get?

I would get it from either Summit, trans Depot, Monster or a local shop. i've read some bad reviews about Monster, has anybody used them? or Trans Depot?

 

the 700r4 is stronger than the 200-4r. ive never heard of trans depot, and havent heard anything bad from monster. of the stuff ive used that was summit brand has all turned out to be junk. but with their package, dont they just offer a bundle package? i do know tci is very good with trans packages. just remember, you get what you pay for
