Dunno if I get any work done today. My dad is bringing the Jeep bake for a wheel cylinder. Boy what fun. plus a Christmas party and tomorrow the oddest day of my life. My 85 year old Grandma is getting married. Weird day indeed.

I talked to a few of my friends because it started to bug me. One of them said "well if I was 85 two months would be long enough for a courtship. You don't have much time left at that age." I have to agree with his logic on that. It still is gonna be painful to see. But my family is close so I will stand there and take it just for her. So has forgiven me for some stuff that happened when I was a teenager.

Sounds like you've got the right attitude Damon! Good to not be too judgemental of her, just simply support her. I'm sure after 40 years of being married she's been very lonely without your grandpa, and needs someone to share her last years with.

Yeah, I've only met the new guy once. He seems OK. The only thing I'm worried about is if he has an income higher than Social Security. My grandma still gets paid from gramps pension. He worked for Brunswick his whole working life, the UAW hooked him up I guess. She will lose that when she gets married. I would hate to see her have money issues so late in life.
