LOL I can smell Gary as I approach on the way to Chicago. I've stopped looking for fireworks there too. Not my favorite place.

I'd like to see the twin coolers.

Just wondering why you're using twin tranny coolers? You really don't want to get the tranny fluid too cool, or that can cause issues too.

Well I guess that should keep you cool to 20,000 gvw when you're hauling those other 4 Camaros behind you!

yeah.hAhaha i only have 2 camaros i can bring it down to 1 10,000 if u think thats enough ,just thought it might get hot at the dragstrip i have 3500-3800 torque convertor and soon to be manual valve body,i know it will stay cool on the street,i only run them thru the coolers not the radiator too.i can try one and see how that does then add #2 only if needed, thx for the tip if i wont need it then i can return the second one.val i really appreciate all the tips u gave me so far much appreciated i do listen to all u say.this is all new to me the only thing i ever raced was sprint cars.and took my irocz to a couple test and tunes at my local drag strip

yeah i will probably end up going down to maybe a 2500 stall we will see once i get it on the road,i got the big stall so i could use it at the drag strip too.when i had that engine in my 87 iroc for 3 weeks i ran it with my 700 r4 stock convertor and it did fine but wouldnt want that on the dragstrip so i need to find a happy medium.

I agree with Rydeer, that's way too high a stall speed. I'm running a 2,000 on my '71 and a 2200 on my Austin. I'd sure want lower converter stall or you'll lose a tranny from not being full pressure while at cruising speeds.
I'd run just one of those coolers, and isolate it from the radiator. I always cut the tranny lines from the radiator and isolate my coolers so radiator heat doesn't add to the tranny's temps, or vice versa.
