Well if your on street tires I think you'll be fine. Its the same deal with my ST-10. As long as I'm not on slicks I'll be fine. Traction will kill it. I'm rated to 450 ft lbs, thats on a new tranny. I feel the tires will fry before the tranny breaks. Lets hope I'm right.

yeah the 700r4 is only rated at 250ft.lbs stock maybe a little more now with alston red clutches,yeah im only gone run,cobra gt 295/60/15 on the back,and maybe a drag radial.like and m/t et.at the track.

The 700R4 has such a deep first it will be fun trying to hook it up. I plan on 315/40/R17 year round. If they fry then they fry. They do make a slick in that size but my suspension won't be anywhere near set up to drag race.

yeah mine neither i just wanna take it to the strip to see what it will run on street tires.i could run a 315 to later on i have 10x15 in the rear,let me know how them 315 do on the street

Tires are the first thing on my list this tax season. Getting it on all fours with one color will be a major accomplishment.

sweet always nice to have new rims and tires,i got mine after i bought the car,all new and ready to go,that set me back about 1600 dollars.so my little 300 dollar camaro aint 300 anymore its at 1900.LOL

anybody know where i can get a driver side cowl corner mines rusted with hole in it.

I got mine last year but ran out of cash before I could get tires. I didn't care much because the stock turbines would work to roll it in and out of the garage. This year I'm going to drive if it kills me.

All I have seen is the whole cowl panel. They don't look hard to install. All the welds are right there. Its so hard to find a car without the rust right there. I stumbled on mine and couldn't pass it up.

Its that windshield seal. They shrink causing the leak from hell. When you get yours replaced make sure the use the black goop and not the butile (sp) stuff. I know the proper names but I can't remember right now. Also make sure when they set the glass that it sits high enough for the trim to sit flush. The caulk stuff will allow the glass to sit deaper than the butile seal. I've read a bunch of stories on this. So say to have them lay a bead of caulk then let it set up for a bit then lay another one on top.
