Cool, so I was able to meet up after all. Traded a Fluke Multimeter for all this stuff.

Also recently picked up this 67 camaro 327 block, they were going to scrap it, I grabbed it for $20. I may be trading it for a 350, Nice to have a spare one laying around.

Looks like you got the best end of that trade! Even if the Fluke was a high end 87 or something like that, you still did better!
I wouldn't hesitate to use that 327 myself! Great engines, and very nostalgic! Should be good to just over 400 hp, even with 2 bolt mains.

It was a Fluke 179 actually. They are really an awesome multimeter, but I have 3, and only need 1, so now 1 more has to go, hopefully for a rear end. I am in contact with someone on Craigslist right now about a car. He seems a bit loony right now though via email. but who knows, not everyone is into computers.

My father in law wants the block, I may trade him for a 350, he did give me the car after all. They are high revving motors from what I have been reading too though.

They will rev a little higher than a 350, but don't believe everything you read on these forums concerning 327 vs. 350 engines. Seems the latest generation never knew the old 327, and all of them think it's sluggish and weak below 6,000 rpm's.
In reality the 327 in 350 hp and the 350 in 350 hp make the same HP at around 5800 rpm vs. 5600 rpm, and peak rpm's are very little difference. The 327 will wind higher than the 350 by a bit, but not that much more than the 350. Afterall it's only 3.25" vs. 3.48" strokes.

Might be picking up a new aluminum guage dash panel, an aftermarket dash slip, an 8 point cage, frame connectors and frame rails, weld in. Could be coming with some air shocks, and some grills too. Keeping my fingers crossed, it is going to be a trade.

Yep, it is all a go, no grills though, but it doesn't matter, I already have some still in the plastic bags so they are new. The shocks are Hijacker Air shocks. What is the point of them, to adjust ride height and handling? Will post up pics when I pic them up. http://www.jegs.com/i/Competition-En...3013K/10002/-1 Do these frame connectors require these frame rails to be installed? I don't need the frame rails, but I do need the connectors. Worst case I could sell them.

Are the frame rails and connectors the ones you linked? Not sure if you have to install the frame rails with those or not. If you check the Jeg's site they may have a instruction jpg that will allow you to look at the installation and see if they're required.

Note, must be used with formed rear frame rails. I wonder how much of a project it is to change those?!!! I could move them IN, and get some mini tubs...
