1971 Camaro continuing project
Yeah I had to stay up late!
We're rebuilding the roof on our house, and since there's tons of debris falling into the garage I have the Camaro stored at my neighbor's garage. He had a family get together and when I got back from the cruise he was gone. Had to wait up for him to get home so I could get the Camaro back in his garage.
Back to the roof today, so I'll be whipped and hit the sack early tonight!

Yeah, me too! I've been putting this off for several years, and I figured if I waited another winter we'd have leaks for sure. Fortunately my neighbor's son is a roofer, so I'm paying them to help and they've got all the expertise and tools.
Funny, because the son is also the guy I bought my 327 from for the Austin gasser!

good ole roofing lol, i did that for a few yrs and it sucks lol. But one good thing about it is i did a roof for a guy who had no money but he did pay me with a 84 C-10 in great shpe which i traded for my 81 camaro
Yeah, it sucks Joe! The weather has been gorgeous, so no complaints there, but in the best weather it still ain't no fun! Hopefully finish it up today! Missing driving the Camaro around! I did bring it back home today from the neighbor's garage though!
Spent the day driving the Camaro. Took a very long drive and used up most of a tank of gas. Thinking of finally parting with it now, as I just don't use it much and hate to see it sit all year.
My oldest son has always wanted it, so I'll offer it to him cheap first, then if he can't scrape up a token amount of it's value I'll put it up for sale. 38 yrs. is long enough to own a good car.

Say it ain't so. Will it to him, then you can guarantee he'll get and you can hold on to it until the end. I know you know a lot of guys who always have a story about the car they used to have and wish they would'nt have got rid of. You are the only person I can think of who still has theirs.

Not driving it enough is definately not a reason to sell that baby. I think you should keep it, i know that if i wouldnt sold mine over the 11 year period i didnt drive it i would miss it every day. If its not a financial burden it should stay!
Well my wife has put her foot down. Says the Camaro isn 't going anywhere until I'm 6 ft. under, and then she's giving it to our oldest son. Guess I've been overuled, trumped, or whatever, so now I need to start on her to let me build a bigger garage to keep all three vehicles in and room to work too.
