actually, a reverse manual is IDEAL for a street driven car. With a standard manual valve body, you have first gear all the way at the bottom, where it would be with a normal trans IE:

The problem here is, if you're coming in to parallel park, you have to shift up through all the gears into reverse, then shift back down through all the gears to get into first.

With a reverse manual valve body IE:

P
R
N
1
2
3

you have first gear closer together so its a lot less shifting.

ohhhhh well thats interesting. I was wondering what valve bodies were all about. I think its a preference thing. I guess if you are going to be shifting the car all the time then a reverse manual valve body would be ideal. But in everyday driving where the car just goes into drive, then i think a standard would be best. Hmmm...well that has put me at a cross road and i have no idea which way to go.
