What ever 4 speed automatic shifter you want to make fit in the console. B&M makes a mega shifter for 3rd gens' with a short stick and ratchet only in 1st -3rd that fits in the console. Hurst makes the dual gate that fits in 3rd gens' also. But I dont know about fourth gens'. Try www.summitracing.com online store.

Why would you want to manually shift a 4l60E? They are computor controlled and will shift at the right time if programed right. The car will notbe faster manually shifting it.

I know it won't be an faster by manually shifting. I'm putting a ratchet shifter in it just to have something different. If i change my mind i'll just put the stock shifter back in.

Put in a Lenco transmission, like a pro stocker, then you will have 4 ratchet shifters to play with. lol

i do have a b&m ratcht shifter with my 4l60e tranny. with a b&m trany controller it dose shift faster than it used to so i like havin the ratchet shifter not only that but i can drop it to first no and the stock shifter would only allow u to drop it to second.
