There's two ways you go about it. You can buy oil off the shelf from your local auto parts store and add a zinc additive. Or order oil off Summit or Jegs that is specifically for older cars. Anything you find local will be the newer API desigination which has ~900ppm zinc and 770ppm phosphorus, compared to your older SJ which was ~1280 Zinc and ~1300 Phosphorus. 10W-30 or -40 would be the way I'd go. You'd be find with 5W-30 or -40 as well.

Or you could simply go to your local parts store and buy either Valvoline VR1, which has more zinc. Brad Penn is also available in most larger market places, but a bit more money. VR1 is the best bargain price, and more zinc than even Brad Penn.
And Wix is the best filter on the market. NAPA Gold is also made by Wix, and equally good. If you want lots of capacity, but the Wix or NAPA Gold #1794.

I've been using Mobil 1, since it's bargain priced at Walmart. I put that stuff in everything. Then add a bottle of STP Oil Treatment, which contains ZDDP. STP doesn't disclose their ppm level though.
