Default LS oilpan to 2nd Gen F-body question(s)

I was wondering if the stock LS1 oilpan would fit or if I would have to go with one of the retrofit oilpans from Holley, Moroso or something like that.

I think the fbody pan is fine. The truck, vette, and caddie pans are a challenge.

Yeah, I just have a decent deal to get one. I'm about to move the 6.0 to the 74 and put in either a brand new LS7 or a texas-speed 408 in the 01.

We're dumping a LQ4 with LS3 Heads and a GMPP hot cam in my buddies 04' DODGE. Yup, SWB regular cab DODGE. Backing it with a Monster Transmissions 700R4. I'm headed over there Sat for a tuning session on the engine stand. I will have video and pics.

Good luck with yours. The LS7 is a dry sump. That should be a fun weekend with the welder.
