oilpan....

Default oilpan....

ok so i bought a 94 camaro 3.4 V6 yesterday and when i took it to the mechanic b4 i ought they said it needs a new oilpan seal and a rear seal by the differential, any one know how much it really costs to do it they said about 300...

Do it yourself. Its not hard to do either of them. It'll cost you maybe $50-75 to do it yourself.

ok but how would i replace the rear seal by the differential?? and what would i need to replace the the olpan seals??

Buy the seals at autozone or whatever and then drain the oil from your engine. There isnt a way to drain your diff oil so just start unbolting it and it'll drain out. Scrape off the old seals and replace with the new. Refill engine oil, and on top the diff theres a place for you to add diff oil. http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/fbody/lubeoil.htm ....this should work good

dont have the time to do it myself work all the time and in school... so i was wondering if anyone knew the actuall price of this stuff....

Hmmm...$300 sounds about right if you wanted to have someone else do it. Call around town to different places and see what they say..
