My 1980 z28 is almost completely stock, and only has replacement parts where needed. My valve covers leak and I bought some new covers, the new ones dont fit because the egr valve is in the way, is there a way to completely get rid of the smog system? I see lines coming from the exhaust manifolds for smog, is there a way to block them off, or to get rid of everything else except for the manifold smog system? Thanks.

 

Do you have a picture ?And if you want to get rid of those .Just treat it as an earlier car.
