I am looking for the EGR stand that bolts to the engine block. The previous owner removed and blocked off the EGR system. I need them to pass California emissions. If anyone has one that they are willing to sell please let me know.

 

Dang, I just threw one away in a box of junk parts I removed out of the garage. Check with your local salvage yard if no one has one. Should be easy to find and fairly cheap.

 

I have been looking for like 6 months. No one seems to have one for a v6 they have them for the ls1 though. I have even been watching ebay and nothing.

 

Well... just so happens that my egr valve is shot and it'd be cheaper for me to just block off egr system, since i live in iowa we have no emissions testing. What exactly is the part you're looking for and would you be willing to trade my parts for ur block off plates?

 

I don't have any block off plates. a piece of metal was welded over the port coming out of the egr valve and the tube going into the intake was cut and a copper cap was jb welded on it. it has a terrible vacuum leak. I don't know if your parts will work on my car. I have a 2001 with the 3.8l that would have been vital info in my first post.
