Coolant wont flow back to radiator?

well the original one worked fine then my dad decided to buy a new one for the hell of it and that one was bad then we got this one now (which was bad) and then i fixed it. its all good now

It would have been extremely helpful for you to have told us that from the beginning!
Doesn't exactly take a rocket surgeon to see the series of events there.

For all it is worth. The radiator cap has two sealing gaskets. The one at the bottom maintains proper system pressure by allowing coolant to flow into the catch bottle if pressure rating of the cap is exceeded. The top gasket seals the top of the radiator neck so that coolant can be drawn back from the catch bottle when the coolant volume decreases as the radiator cools. If the upper gaskets leaks the, coolant will not flow back into the radiator.
