lost keys
hey all i know it's been awhile but the camaro project has been delayed due to relocation so i'll cut to the chase i need to pull this thing 500 miles tomorrow in about 100 pieces, some how some way i lost the ignition key
i need to get the wheels to turn i guess i have pull the steering wheel to get at the lock mechanism any suggestions would be greatly apreciated. it's a 74

Need the key to pull the lock mechanism, as it needs to be in the "on" position to remove the lock. Not sure if your '74 is like my '71 and uses the ignition key to also open the door or not. If it is you can remove the door lock and take it to a good locksmith. They can disassemble the door lock and then make a key from what they see in the lock setup.
After that they can reassemble the door lock tumblers, and you'll have a key to unlock the steering and doors.
